The fifth annual “Turgutlu Technology Days” event, organized by Manisa Celal Bayar University’s Hasan Ferdi Turgutlu Faculty of Technology, kicked off with an opening ceremony held at the Seramiksan Conference Hall. The event saw strong participation from students interested in technology, academics, and industry representatives, with a focus on technology and innovation-centered projects.
In the opening speeches, Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Ali Demir, Turgutlu District Governor Selami Kapankaya, and MCBU Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar emphasized the importance of supporting young people’s interest in technology and strengthening university-industry collaborations. Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar highlighted the university’s vision by stating, “Our goal is to raise young people who do not just follow technology, but also produce it.”
Protocol members, academics, and visitors attending the event closely examined company booths set up in the faculty garden and explored projects developed by student clubs operating within the faculty. Technological products and innovative solutions developed by students attracted great attention.
Growing larger each year, the Turgutlu Technology Days aim to provide students with opportunities to showcase their knowledge and skills, increase sectoral collaborations, and strengthen interactions with the academic community. Over the course of the two-day event, various presentations, workshops, and panels related to the world of technology will be held for participants.
