Ahead of Eid al-Adha, Manisa Celal Bayar University brought together its academic and administrative staff at a traditional holiday gathering, once again fostering the spirit of unity and solidarity within the university community.

The celebration began at the foyer of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture on the Şehzadeler Campus, and continued at the Chief Physician’s Office floor of Hafsa Sultan Hospital on the Uncubozköy Health Campus, as well as at the Dumanlıdağ Restaurant on the Şehit Prof. Dr. İlhan Varank Campus.

The events were attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Kadir Ay and Prof. Dr. Oktay Üçer, Secretary General Erhan Doğan, deans, directors, and numerous academic and administrative staff.

In her speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar emphasized the cultural and spiritual importance of holidays, highlighting the need to pass these values on to future generations. She said:
"We are once again at peace to have reached another festive occasion. Holidays hold a deeply cherished place in our culture, faith, and history. It is our responsibility to preserve and pass on the essence of the ‘good old holidays’ we often long for. How we spend our holidays depends on how we plan them. Most importantly, living out these values and demonstrating them to our children is an invaluable investment that strengthens their sense of unity and shapes their future with a powerful legacy."

She further noted that one of the greatest strengths of society is the spirit of togetherness:
"One of our most powerful qualities as a society is our ability to act in unity. We come together in both joyful and difficult times, multiplying our happiness and easing our sorrows. Therefore, spending meaningful days like Eid together is truly precious. I wish you, your families, and the entire Islamic world a blessed Eid al-Adha filled with health, well-being, happiness, and peace. Eid Mubarak to all of you.”

The celebration concluded with a group photo following the holiday greetings.
