Opening of the Cosmetology Center at Manisa Celal Bayar University Hafsa Sultan Hospital

The Cosmetology Center at Manisa Celal Bayar University Hafsa Sultan Hospital was inaugurated in its newly renovated location to expand training and application opportunities in the field of cosmetology.

The opening ceremony of the Cosmetology Center, which will operate on the second floor of the former Chief Physician Building, was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Oktay Üçer, deans, academic and administrative staff, as well as hospital employees.

In her opening speech, Prof. Dr. Aylin Türel Ermertcan, Head of the Department of Dermatology and Director of the Cosmetology Center, stated that the center has been providing services within the hospital since 2015, saying, “We have gathered here today due to the relocation of our Cosmetology Center.

We have state-of-the-art laser devices in our center. We offer treatments for spots, vascular issues, hair removal, acne scars, and skin rejuvenation. In addition, we provide filler and Botox applications, as well as treatments for hair loss and cellulite. Skin care is performed by our aestheticians and faculty members with high-quality materials in safe hands.”

Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar emphasized that activities in the Health Campus continue without interruption. He stated, “We are working to improve the quality of the services our university provides in all areas, starting from our educational infrastructure, with your contributions.

In this context, the practices we carry out in our hospital are particularly significant, as they serve not only Manisa but the entire region. By relocating our Cosmetology Center, we have not only improved our physical facilities but also supported our center with cutting-edge technology. Our hospital operates with a specialized team in this center, as in many areas, and with the new opportunities, it will provide a much higher quality of service.”

Although cosmetology is often associated with beauty, Rector Prof. Dr. Kibar highlighted its serious impact on human health, saying, “We believe that the services provided here will serve the people of Manisa and the surrounding region in the best possible way. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the opening of our Cosmetology Center, especially our Chief Physician. I believe that all services provided here will contribute not only to people’s beauty but also to their mental health. A person’s beauty is related not only to physical appearance but also to inner peace. Therefore, I hope that the work done here will contribute to this as well. Thank you all for your participation, and I wish our new location success in providing health and beauty services.”

The program concluded with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a tour of the treatment rooms.
