The Accreditation of the Nursing Department at MCBU Faculty of Health Sciences Extended for 5 Years

The accreditation period of the Nursing Department at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Manisa Celal Bayar University (MCBU), has been extended for 5 years by the Nursing Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association (HEPDAK).

As a result of the evaluation conducted by HEPDAK, which is recognized as the national quality assurance agency by the Council of Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK), the Nursing Department has been re-accredited for the period from March 19, 2025, to September 30, 2028.

The accreditation certificate was presented to Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar. The certificate presentation ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Seyhun Kürşat, Vice Deans, the Head of the Nursing Department, Prof. Dr. Emre Yanıkkerem, the Deputy Head of the Department, Dr. Instructor Member Aslı Karakuş Selçuk, the Chairman of the Accreditation Commission, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adalet Kutlu, Faculty Secretary Hilmi Mecek, and the former Head of the Nursing Department, Prof. Dr. Dilek Ergin.

Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar thanked the academic and administrative staff of the Nursing Department for their dedicated work during the accreditation process. Prof. Dr. Kibar stated that this achievement is a great source of pride for both the university and the faculty.
