The II. Student Quality Workshop, organized by the Quality Student Club of Manisa Celal Bayar University (MCBU), was successfully held with the theme "Quality on Campus: Problems and Opportunities" at the Prof. Ümit Doğay Arınç Cultural Center, with the participation of 80 students.

The workshop began with opening speeches by Edanur Keskin, President of the MCBU Quality Student Club, and Prof. Dr. Oktay Üçer, Quality Coordinator and Vice Rector.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Oktay Üçer emphasized the importance of student participation in quality processes, stating, "One of the most important ways to increase quality in universities is the active involvement of students in these processes. Student feedback, innovative ideas, and shared decision-making mechanisms play a vital role in the sustainable success of our university. This workshop was carried out with the dedicated efforts of the Quality Student Club. I would like to thank our Informatics Club and the members of the organizing committee for their contributions, and express my gratitude to all the students who participated, as they are the most important part of the process."

During the workshop, various presentations were made from both internal and external perspectives of the university. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Erkan Turan provided information on quality assurance systems, while Prof. Dr. Ramazan Gökbunar presented important data on YÖKAK evaluations and student participation. Additionally, Neslişah Ünver, a student from the Faculty of Sports Sciences, shared her personal experiences with quality processes, offering an individual perspective.

In the second part of the event, students and academics came together to discuss various topics.

Under the moderation of our faculty members Prof. Dr. Ramazan Gökbunar and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aynur Çetinkaya, student participation in education and teaching processes was discussed; Prof. Dr. Halil Babacan and Prof. Dr. Suat Donuk moderated discussions on student participation in research and development processes; Prof. Dr. Duygu Alptekin and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Gönüllü Atakan led discussions on student involvement in social contribution processes; and Dr. Mustafa Özhan Kalaç and Dr. Faruk Durmaz moderated discussions on the role of students in strengthening quality assurance systems.

In the closing session of the workshop, the proposed solutions were shared with the participants through joint presentations, and the event's report will be prepared and published.
