MCBU Vocational School of Health Services Graduates Went Off to Life as Well-Equipped Individuals

Manisa Celal Bayar University Vocational School of Health Services 2023-2024 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony was held at Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center on the Health Campus.

Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Kadir Ay, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Çetin, protocol members, academic and administrative staff, guests, families and students attended the ceremony.

Hair Care and Beauty Program student Ceyda Yermez made a speech on behalf of the graduates.

Prof. Dr. Gülşen Gürgen, Director of the Vocational School of Health Services, started her speech by giving information about the Vocational School of Health Services and said, "Happily, our graduating students constitute the source of educated potential workforce in the health sector and their employment opportunities continue to increase day by day. As Manisa Celal Bayar University Vocational School of Health Services, our mission is to increase the preferability of vocational and technical education by promoting it better, to train technical staff who have gained knowledge and skills in their field, who are committed to ethical values, sensitive to the environment, productive, responsible for the interests of the country, respectful to human rights, devoted to Atatürk's principles, and who will work in the field of health.

Dear students, I am confident that you will represent our university in the best way and provide good services wherever you go all over our country. I wish you all health, happiness and success in your future life and welcome you all."

Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, who stated that he starts his speeches with Palestine in all graduation programs, said the following: "The persecution of the Palestinian people, especially in Gaza and Rafah, which started in October and has been going on for eight months, has now become a matter of genocide. We also condemn this persecution by Israel. I would like to express once again that we have not forgotten the images coming from there and we will not let them be forgotten. I wish Allah's mercy to those who died in this process and a speedy recovery to the wounded."

Stating that they are proud to have 352 graduates from six different programs affiliated to three departments of Manisa Celal Bayar University Vocational School of Health Services, Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar said, "Dear families, the children you entrusted to us two years ago are returning to you as experts in their fields and well-equipped professionals. You cannot be too proud of their achievements. We are sure that you will provide the same support to our students in their future lives.

Dear young people, with these documents you are entitled to receive today, you are graduating from this school equipped to serve the health sector at the international level as well as everywhere in our country. If our state will be stronger, our flag will fly higher, and we will live more proudly as a nation, it will be thanks to you. As Manisa Celal Bayar University, we stand behind the education we provide. We trust you. Believe in yourselves. You can fight against all kinds of difficulties you will face in your future life. Each of you has been trained to touch people's lives in the most important point for them, which is health. You have technical equipment, knowledge and experience. The most important thing we ask of you in your next life is please do not lose your sense of empathy. The people you will encounter in the sector you will serve will come across you in a very sensitive way. Serve them with empathy in your services. I wish you a healthy, happy and peaceful life from now on. I wish you a happy graduation and may God help you and help you in your path and good fortune."

The program continued with the awarding of certificates of achievement to the top students and ended with the recitation of the professional oath and the throwing of the cap after all graduates received their graduation certificates.
