The building of the Salihli Vocational School, which contributes to higher education at the 5 Eylül Campus of Manisa Celal Bayar University, is being renovated by İsmail Bali, the owner of Baloğlu Food company, located in the Salihli Organized Industrial Zone and contributing to the country’s exports.

Under the protocol signed between Manisa Celal Bayar University and Baloğlu Food, the vocational school building, which will have a closed area of 6,500 m², will be named after the late wife of the philanthropist businessman İsmail Bali, Sacide Bali, once completed. The name of the Salihli Vocational School will be changed to "Salihli Sacide Bali Vocational School."

The signing ceremony was held at the Rector's Office and attended by businessman İsmail Bali, Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, Salihli District Governor Ali Güldoğan, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ahmet Çetin, Prof. Dr. Kadir Ay, Prof. Dr. Oktay Üçer, Director of Salihli Vocational School Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tanju Kahraman, Secretary General Erhan Doğan, Assistant Directors Instructor Ali Öztürk, Instructor Aziz Can Şensazlı, Vocational School Secretary Ergün Kaya, Lawyer İbrahim Ethem Acar, and Financial Advisor Kenan Aydın.

During the signing ceremony, İsmail Bali stated that he had promised his late wife to build a school in her name during her lifetime and expressed his happiness for fulfilling this promise.

Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar expressed gratitude and joy for the philanthropist businessman İsmail Bali taking on the construction of the vocational school building at the Salihli 5 Eylül Campus.

Salihli District Governor Ali Güldoğan noted his satisfaction with the fact that many projects are being carried out by philanthropists in this way.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tanju Kahraman, Director of Salihli Vocational School, stated that they are very happy about the construction of the new building, and around two thousand five hundred students will receive associate degree education at the Salihli Sacide Bali Vocational School.
