Six Bachelor's Programs at Manisa Celal Bayar University (MCBU) Earned the Right to Use the TYÇ Logo
The Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the Faculty of Sports Sciences, and the Faculty of Health Sciences at Manisa Celal Bayar University (MCBU) have earned the right to use the Turkey Qualifications Framework (TYÇ) logo for six of their undergraduate programs. With the use of the TYÇ logo, MCBU has taken another significant step towards quality and transparency in education.
TYÇ is a national system designed to be compatible with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), encompassing all qualifications gained through vocational, general, and academic education, including primary, secondary, and higher education, via various learning pathways. TYÇ aims to transparently document qualifications that have been quality-assured and holds great importance in terms of both national and international recognition.
Within this scope, the MCBU undergraduate programs that have earned the right to use the TYÇ logo include: Computer Engineering Program (English), Bioengineering Program (English), Food Engineering Program, Civil Engineering Program (30% in English), Physical Education and Sports Teaching Program, and Midwifery Program.
The Rector of Manisa Celal Bayar University, Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, who stated that the aforementioned undergraduate programs meet all the criteria outlined in the Guidelines for the Use of the TYÇ Logo on Higher Education Graduation Certificates, said:
“The TYÇ logo is recognized as a symbol with international validity, and its use on graduation certificates contributes to the recognition of our students' qualifications and enhances the international validity of their degrees. This significant development will increase the recognition of our graduates both domestically and internationally and support the internationalization of our academic programs. I would like to thank all my colleagues who contributed to this meaningful achievement and firmly believe that we will achieve many more successes together.”
