Manisa Celal Bayar University Rectorate Held the Eid Celebration Ceremony with High Participation
The Rectorate of Manisa Celal Bayar University held its traditional Eid Celebration Ceremony, which is organized every year, at the Şehit Prof. Dr. İlhan Varank Campus, following the Şehzadeler and Uncubozköy Health Campuses.
The ceremony, held at Dumanlıdağ Restaurant with the participation of Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, was attended by Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ahmet Çetin and Prof. Dr. Kadir Ay, General Secretary Erhan Doğan, deans of faculties, directors of institutes and vocational schools, and many academic and administrative staff.
In her speech at the event, where there was a high level of participation, Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar emphasized that holidays have a unifying power for all of us. She stated that in these days, when we experience our national and spiritual feelings to the fullest, we live the feelings of love, tolerance, respect, and, most importantly, cooperation in the most beautiful way.
Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar also expressed that the holidays, which bring peace to our hearts, hold a very important place in our culture and history. She said, “We are experiencing the joy and peace of reaching Ramadan Eid, which is a reward for Muslims at the end of the month of Ramadan, whose beginning is mercy, middle is forgiveness, and end is salvation from eternal torment. Eid times are an opportunity to spend more beautiful moments with our loved ones.”
She continued, “May the Ramadan Eid be blessed for you, your families, and the entire Muslim world. May God grant us many more holidays, with health, wellness, and joy, alongside our loved ones.”
The ceremony concluded with a group photo after the Eid greetings.
