Manisa Celal Bayar University continues to bring experienced professionals together with students. In this context, the university hosted Prof. Dr. Murat Yalçıntaş, a respected figure from both the business world and academia, for a conference titled “Innovation Revolution in the New World Order,” organized in cooperation with the Manisa Independent Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (MÜSİAD).

The event was held at the Prof. Ümit Doğay Arınç Cultural Center and attended by academic and administrative staff, as well as a large number of students and guests.

In his speech, Prof. Dr. Yalçıntaş addressed the impacts of technological transformation on business and society. He noted that the question “Does technology cause unemployment?” has been asked during every industrial revolution in history, but these transformations have also created new professional fields. He emphasized, “With every technological advancement, unskilled individuals become less valuable, while skilled and educated individuals become more valuable. The issue is not unemployment, but lack of skills.”

Prof. Dr. Murat Yalçıntaş explained the relationship between innovation and concepts such as digitalization, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and entrepreneurship through examples. He warned that individuals and societies that do not keep up with technology will fall behind. He also highlighted that educated, ethical, and responsible individuals form the foundation of developed societies, stating, “Everything starts with people. If people are well educated, society progresses.”

Stressing the importance of not only individual development but also environmental and health awareness on the path to success, Prof. Dr. Yalçıntaş touched on topics such as professions that will lose significance in the future, effective communication skills, time management, and the importance of foreign languages.

The program concluded with a plaque and gift presentation to Prof. Dr. Murat Yalçıntaş. At the end of the event, students were informed about a raffle to be sponsored by Manisa MÜSİAD.
