Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar Appeared as a Guest on TRT Radio 1’s ‘Ailece’ Program and Shared Information About EGEKAF’25

Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar was a guest on the live broadcast of the 'Ailece' program on TRT Radio 1. During the program, she shared important details about EGEKAF'25, which will be hosted by Manisa Celal Bayar University under the auspices of the Presidential Human Resources Office of the Republic of Turkey. Prof. Dr. Kibar emphasized the importance of students starting to shape their careers as early as possible, particularly through internships, volunteer work, and various social responsibility projects to gain valuable experience.

Highlighting the goal of the fair, which is to collaborate with the public, industry, and NGOs, Prof. Dr. Kibar stated that the aim is to build the future in line with the mission of the "Century of Turkey," starting with addressing the region’s needs. She said, “In this direction, we aim to connect young people with the business world, help them determine their career goals, and contribute to the region's economic and social development. Through this fair, we will create a tangible connection between students, graduates, and the business world. Under the theme ‘Talent is Everywhere,’ we will especially help our graduates, starting with those from the region, and all graduates and students across the country, by facilitating the job-searching process. The main purpose of this fair is to create a major meeting point.”

Rector Kibar further explained that students and graduates will gain serious practical skills through seminars, panels, workshops, and many other events during the fair. She emphasized that these events will not only provide theoretical knowledge but also practical expertise. “Another important aspect of our fair is that it is an accessible fair. We are making sure that all venues are easily accessible, overcoming geographical and physical barriers. We’ve also made arrangements for students to access all events online without any hindrances, making this a first for our fair."

She also noted that the slogan "You Are at the End of This Job" carries a meaningful and powerful message. "We want to tell young people: this journey is your journey. You are the ones who will achieve success. Therefore, shaping your career is entirely your responsibility and in your hands. We want to show that we are here to support them in this career journey, helping them see their potential and talents once again."

Rector Prof. Dr. Kibar also mentioned that such a large-scale event had never been held before at Manisa Celal Bayar University or even in Manisa. “We are preparing for this fair with many innovations and firsts. All participants will witness several ‘firsts’ in Manisa at the Ege Career Fair.”

One of the key points of the event is bringing students together with leading figures from the industry. “Manisa is an industrial city with a strong industrial base, and there is a significant demand for employment in the sector. Students are also in search of jobs. First and foremost, this fair will help bring these two groups together, providing social contributions by creating a meeting point.”

The main sponsors of EGEKAF'25 are the Manisa Organized Industrial Zone Directorate, the Manisa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Governor’s Office of Manisa. Rector Kibar thanked all the supporters and participants involved in organizing and supporting the fair.

EGEKAF’25 is not just a fair; it is a guide and companion for young people on their journey into the future. Rector Kibar invited all students and participants to join the fair on February 26-27 at the Şehzadeler Campus in Manisa under the theme ‘Society 5.0’. "We will be happy to host them at our fair in Manisa. We say to young people: come, let’s shape your future together," she concluded.
