Manisa Celal Bayar University Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar was elected as a board member at the 260th Interuniversity Council (UAK) Meeting.
The meeting was held at the Higher Education Council (YÖK) building with the participation of Higher Education Council (YÖK) President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, ÜAK Board Members, rectors of state and foundation universities and university representatives.
Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, who was elected as a member of ÜAK, will work to strengthen inter-university cooperation in the coming period.
Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar thanked YÖK President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, ÜAK President Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karakaş and all ÜAK members who supported her for her election as a member of ÜAK and said, “We will contribute to the further development of our university in the national and international arena by adopting a quality-oriented education approach.”
ÜAK, which was established to ensure cooperation and coordination among universities in Turkey, stands out as an important platform that contributes to the development of the higher education system. The Executive Board of UAK consists of three members elected by the General Assembly of the Interuniversity Council from the fields of Science and Engineering, Health and Social Sciences, and one member from the field of Fine Arts.
