Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Osman Boyraz Shared the Transportation Vision of the ‘Century of Turkey’ at UFEST
Organized by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, UFEST continues with strong interest from students at Manisa Celal Bayar University’s Şehit Prof. Dr. İlhan Varank Campus.
As part of the UFEST events, Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Osman Boyraz met with university students through a talk titled "Transportation Vision in the Century of Turkey."
Prior to the talk, MCBÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar delivered an opening speech, emphasizing the university’s ongoing efforts to host and organize diverse events in the fields of academia, education, and community engagement.
"Today, we are proud to host UFEST, organized by our Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure. Through this four-day event on our campus, students are given valuable insight into the ministry’s vision for Turkey, along with its investments, projects, and future-oriented initiatives in transportation. I believe that sharing this with the youth is of great importance. I extend my sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to the event, especially the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure," she said.
Aimed at increasing students' awareness and understanding of Turkey’s transportation and infrastructure projects, the event offered a unique opportunity for dialogue between the Ministry and the youth.
In his speech, Osman Boyraz explained the strategic vision behind Turkey’s transportation and infrastructure investments. Addressing the enthusiastic crowd of MCBÜ students, he said:
"You will be the carriers of this vision. Stay open to knowledge, technology, and innovation. You are the future of Turkey."
The event concluded with a drawing in which four lucky students won a journey on the famous Eastern Express, followed by a group photo session.
