New laboratories focused on the energy sector have been opened at MCBÜ Technical Sciences Vocational School

Manisa Celal Bayar University Manisa Technical Sciences Vocational School has taken a significant step towards training qualified personnel for the energy sector. In collaboration with Enerjisa Generation, the opening ceremony of the "Enerjisa Generation Electronics and Circuit Laboratory" and the "Enerjisa Generation Computer Laboratory" was held.

Under the project initiated with the protocol signed last July, the aim is to train students in accordance with the current needs of the sector. The laboratories feature the latest technologies and applications in electronics, circuits, and computer systems.

Additionally, as part of the protocol, English language training is being provided in collaboration with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to enhance the skills and knowledge of academic staff and students. Various training programs and workshops covering topics such as renewable energy technologies, computer education, English language skills, and social skills are also planned to continue.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mehmet Üvez, Deputy President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), emphasized the importance of encouraging private sector, technical, and vocational education institution collaborations to contribute to the development of future human capital in line with the redefined workforce needs of green and digital transformations. He expressed firm belief that the project launched today will contribute to the efficiency, performance, and sustainability of the renewable energy sector by enhancing the competence and diversity of the future workforce.

Ayşegül Gürkale, Deputy General Manager of Human Resources and Culture at Enerjisa Generation, stated, "Our collaboration with Manisa Celal Bayar University is an investment in the future of the energy sector. Students who will receive education in these laboratories will possess the knowledge and skills required by the sector and will contribute to the development of our country in the field of energy."

In her speech, Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, the Rector of Manisa Celal Bayar University, emphasized the importance of the energy sector for the Turkish economy and stated that training qualified personnel in this field is crucial. Kibar expressed that through this collaboration with Enerjisa Generation and EBRD, they have the opportunity to provide education using the most up-to-date technologies, and thus, the graduates will become sought-after employees by employers when they enter the sector.

Following the protocol speeches, plaques were presented to Ayşegül Gürkale, Deputy General Manager of Human Resources and Culture at Enerjisa Generation, and Mehmet Üvez, Deputy President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The ceremony, attended by Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar, Rector of Manisa Celal Bayar University, Mustafa Yıldız, Deputy Governor of Manisa, Atilla Kantay, District Governor of Yunusemre, Gülşah Durbay, Mayor of Şehzadeler, Ayşegül Gürkale, Deputy General Manager of Human Resources and Culture at Enerjisa Generation, and Mehmet Üvez, Deputy President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), as well as protocol members, academicians, and students, concluded with the opening of the laboratories and a briefing on the new arrangements.

With these laboratories, MCBU Manisa Technical Sciences Vocational School has taken a significant step towards training qualified personnel for the energy sector. It is believed that this will contribute to the development of energy in Manisa and Turkey.
