Manisa Celal Bayar University has earned the right to be supported with five projects under TÜSEB's 2023 Biotechnology R&D Projects Support Program.

The project "Parasitology Education, Diagnosis, and Reference Preparations Set," led by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Özbilgin with Dr. İbrahim Çavuş as a researcher, has been selected under TÜSEB’s 2023-B-01-B Group R&D Projects. The project "2D and 3D In Vitro Alzheimer's Disease Model with Microglia and SHSY5Y Co-Culture," led by Dilara Sabırtaş with Dr. Öğretim Üyesi Şeyma Taşdemir as a researcher, has been selected under TÜSEB’s 2023-A2-02-A Group R&D Projects.

Another project, "Radiolabeling of Estrogen-Related Receptor α Inverse Agonist XCT-790 with [99mTc] and Determining Its Bioactivity in the Treatment of Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer through In Vivo Methods," led by Prof. Dr. Fikriye Gül Gümüşer with researchers Prof. Dr. Uğur Avcıbaşı, Prof. Dr. Yasemin Parlak, Prof. Dr. Fazilet Zümrüt Biber Müftüler, Dr. Öğretim Üyesi Emre Uygur, and Uzm. Dr. Ceren Sezgin, has been selected under TÜSEB’s 2023-A4-04-A Group R&D Projects. The project "Investigation of the Presence of LINE1, ORF1, and FTO in Mesenchymal Stem Cell-Derived Exosomes Supporting In Vitro Oocyte Maturation," led by Prof. Dr. H. Seda Vatansever with Dr. Damla Akoğulları Çelik as a scholarship recipient, will be supported under TÜSEB’s 2023-A4-02-A Group R&D Projects.

The project "In Vitro Production and Characterization of Functional Human Colon Tissue Using Tissue-Specific Live Cells and Biocompatible Hydrogels through 3D Bio-Printing Technology," led by Prof. Dr. Aylin M. Deliormanlı, has been selected under TÜSEB’s 2023-B-01-B Group R&D Projects.
