Faculty members from Manisa Celal Bayar University, Dr. Asst. Prof. Emre Uygur, Asst. Lecturer Mehmet Nuri Öğüt, Computer Engineers Tekincan Çakal and Zülfikar Minas, Industrial Engineer Didar Şahin, along with eight students from the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at MCBU, have developed Turkey's first "Artificial Intelligence Supported Digital Education System."
The program, developed under the ENM Digital brand, includes an AI assistant that allows students to ask questions 24/7 to a digital clone during class. The system analyzes the course content and provides instant answers to questions. With these features, students will be able to follow the course flow more effectively and continue their learning without missing important points.
The AI-supported training program not only offers significant innovations for students but also for vocational training. The program promises to minimize losses due to staff changes by recording the training provided and transferring it seamlessly to new personnel through AI. This will help businesses reduce their dependency on training from abroad on topics like machine installation, maintenance, technical support, etc., thereby lowering costs.
Dr. Asst. Prof. Emre Uygur and Asst. Lecturer Mehmet Nuri Öğüt stated that the program is active in 23 different languages and has export potential. They also mentioned that, with the development of hologram technology in the project, they aim to have the instructor's digital assistant provide verbal answers. They envision this as a groundbreaking project in the education sector, enabling students to interactively follow classes in a virtual environment.
Among other projects developed by ENM Digital within Manisa Technopark is a system called "Project Wizard." This system helps businesses track government grants and subsidy programs by quickly notifying users in the relevant sector about project announcements via SMS and email. The system, capable of detailed sector analysis, allows businesses to keep up-to-date with calls in their sector. Additionally, the system can draft project application files based on user input. Besides the web version, a mobile application is being developed with KOSGEB Business Development support. The "Project Wizard" provides businesses, institutions, and academics with advantages in project writing and call tracking.
Students from the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, who are also preparing for TÜBİTAK and Teknofest competitions, continue to contribute to Turkey's technological infrastructure by developing new projects with their faculty members.
