Manisa Technopark continues to stand out as one of the region's most important centers for technology development and innovation. With groundbreaking work in technology and innovation through academic and industrial collaborations, Manisa Technopark significantly contributes to the entrepreneurship ecosystem.

With its modern infrastructure, advanced technology laboratories, and extensive network of collaborations, Manisa Technopark is one of the key meeting points for technology-based companies and entrepreneurs. Companies within the Technopark benefit from the university's academic expertise to continue their R&D activities and develop innovative projects.

In addition to technology and innovation, Manisa Technopark is making significant strides in sustainability. The Technopark has implemented a 273.9 kWp Solar Power Plant (SPP) project, which will meet approximately 65% of its energy needs annually, starting from February 2023. This investment not only reduces energy costs but also contributes to environmental sustainability.

Thanks to the SPP investment, Manisa Technopark is effectively using renewable energy sources to reduce its carbon footprint and taking a significant step towards becoming an environmentally friendly technology center. This initiative also raises awareness about renewable energy in the region and sets an example for other institutions. Through this investment, Manisa Technopark demonstrates its commitment to a sustainable future by contributing to the regional economy.

General Manager Prof. Dr. Osman Çulha emphasized that Manisa Technopark will be supported by sustainable energy investments, a robust R&D infrastructure, and innovative Incubation Center investments. He stated, “Manisa Technopark will contribute to the development of new technologies by providing high-standard laboratories and research facilities to the companies and entrepreneurs within it. The Incubation Center plays a crucial role in helping innovative ideas become commercial products by providing necessary support for entrepreneurs to succeed. The center offers mentoring, financing, and business development support, facilitating the rapid and sustainable growth of entrepreneurs. In this context, a 2,500 m² additional building investment is targeted to commence by the end of 2025, pending ministry approval.”

MCBÜ Rector and TEKNOKENT Board of Directors President Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar stated that Manisa Technopark will continue to be a role model for other technology development regions by maintaining its pioneering role in technological innovation and sustainable energy. She expressed that they will continue to support the ecosystem with research infrastructure and entrepreneurship support.

Rector Prof. Dr. Kibar also highlighted that Manisa Technopark’s vision for sustainability in energy will make significant contributions to Turkey's advancements in technology and sustainability. She noted that the Manisa Technopark and the Technology Transfer Office, part of the University’s Manisa Research Entrepreneurship and Innovation Coordination, will support R&D activities in alternative energy, energy efficiency, climate agreements, and emissions, and will initiate programs aimed at increasing the number of entrepreneurs in this field.
