Manisa Celal Bayar University Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar was a live guest on Manisa ETV's 'Health Compass' program.
During the program, Rector Prof. Dr. Kibar provided general information about the university and shared significant details about the university’s work, projects, and future goals in the field of health.
Rector Prof. Dr. Kibar announced that five new departments will admit students in the 2024-2025 academic year, stating, "Under the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the ‘Alternative Energy Sources Department’ will admit fifty students, including twenty-five men and twenty-five women, to meet employment needs. Additionally, thirty undergraduate and associate degree students will be admitted to each of the ‘Data Science and Analytics,’ ‘Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning’ departments, and the ‘Big Data Analytics, Digital Transformation Electronics, Manufacturing Execution Systems Operations’ departments under the Manisa Vocational School of Technical Sciences. As digitization is moving in this direction today, we, as Manisa Celal Bayar University, will contribute to the sector by training students in these areas."
Rector Prof. Dr. Rana Kibar also mentioned that the university has established a 'Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences,' one of only six such faculties established in Turkey this year. She answered questions about the services and planned projects of the university, the Medical Faculty, and Hafsasultan Hospital.
